I am just a casual collector, and haven't checked this forum in awhile. I had been keeping an eye out for quite some time for the new Lincoln cents, but heard they were somewhat delayed in release. I finally received one in pocket change at a CVS when I bought a pack of gum here in Cincinnati, OH, on 5/31. The coin did not look "nice `n shiny" like you'd expect a 2009 coin to appear...in fact it was already pretty dingy! Are these things circulating more heavily in other parts of the country? I showed the log cabin penny to the cashier and asked if she'd seen any of those yet, but she hadn't. Actually, I think she just thought I was weird. Just curious, Andy
I haven't seen any yet, but I've been keeping my eye out. I'm going to see if my bank has any rolls tomorrow...
