Finally found a 2009 extra finger...die chip

    Hey clembo - you can see this at 5x and the snap shots are 60x. Not sure why coinworld made such a big deal about it - From this you can clearly see it is just a die chip - my opinion. If you look hard enough it looks like it works its way up to the die crack in the A in cents. Plus a couple cool die cracks on the obverse also - gotta love the die cracks like this. Good thing I found one in change because that is the only way I will ever own one. :) Having fun with moderns.

    kewl, I see it. Checked the one I found at work and no extra finger.

    Mine looks like it has 2 ears (at the top)

    Heck I've only seen 1 2009 Linclon and that was the log cabin one .

    Here lately a lot of my change has included 2009 cents - both types. This is the first one with any of the die cracks or chips I have heard about. So far no denver mint cents. And I have still yet to see 2009 nickel or dime. I did finally get a Puerto Rico quarter last week while in Minneapolis. Hit that vending machine every night trying to get another.
