I'm here in Florida on vacation and received change in Publix. 2 - 2017P cents! Not a lightning bolt but still finally got 2 in change.
Well, so far. after 1 1/2 rolls, 20 die cracks in the hair. Nothing other than that so far except it looks as if there might be doubling at the bottom of the 1 on a few, a slash like the past years. These are so hard to see under a loupe though. I'll have to use the microscope to be sure.
Hi; I purchased a roll of pennies and at some point I was reading a story of the 2017p penny that was double struck. So I checked my roll of pennies and found two pennies that have the letters missing. One penny has the letters "IN are very light and not so pronounced as the rest GOD WE TRUST. the other penny is the worst as all the letters that spell out state are very very light or missing. now what do I do?
