    anyone knows the final mintages for american eagle gold coins?. thanks.

    $25.00 gold proof: 2003w, 2004w, 2005w
    $25.00 gold unc: 2004, 2005

    $10.00 gold proof: 2003w, 2004w, 2005w
    $10.00 gold unc : 2004, 2005

    thanks gdjmsp. so there is no way to get the 2004 and 2005 proof american eagle gold mintages?.

    There is, but you won't find it on the mint's web site just yet. You can check older issues of Numismatic News - they list them.

    why the u.s.mint report final mintage for am eagle unc gold and silver coins from 1986 to 2005. but gave only the sales figures for the proof version?. something mysterious within..........

    Nothing mysterious at all. They list them that way because you can buy the individual coins and 4 coin sets.

    but then, the sales from 1986 to 2004 are already done. why not give final mintages?.
