    Just got an email from Civitas about new items being posted. I had a quick look and found this one. It will be a great addition to my historical figures collection.

    I was also inspired by other who have posted similar coins.

    Please post any related coins.

    @Parthicus
    I have seen that type before. It is a very attractive coin.

    @Mat

    That is a great coin. Are the 2 Real pieces scarcer than the 1 Real pieces? I have not seen many of those.

    Yup, they are for the most part, but can be found with patience.

    I actually paid much less compared to you too, I am surprised.

    Yes, I realized after I bought it that I probably overpaid. Oh well, it happens once in a while.
    I usually do get better deals at Civitas.

    Nice job @Orfew !

    I found mine for the pure historical reason. However, I have a pretty common Blanca... Fun to have, and I rarely am able to pride it out!

    Thanks Mat! They look like they are ready to kiss:)
    The mints in Spain made a lot of different denominations for this type. They made them up to 50 Excelentes=50 Dukaten=175 g. gold=nice chunk of change:shame:

    That Blanca has a lot of eye-appeal and is very well preserved for the issue. Lovely.

    Thank you and @Orfew . It was relatively inexpensive and is a good representative of this historical time period. Fun!
