Feedback on different sellers found in magazines or coin shows or local dealers with an address

I would like to know if anyone has given any feedback about their dealings with the sellers of coins that they found on line, or from the national magazines full of dealers advertising their wares or even a dealer selling from his shop locally to his customers. If not I would like to start a thread with the thoughts and experiences both good and bad so that others can make a wise decision as to buy from them or not. I want to buy from G & F who buys 2 or more pages of ads in NN but not sure that the claims are close to being accurate. If none exist, then this can be the start of the thread.
