I think I have some of those in my classroom. Have to look again. From what I remember, they weren't great, but I'll have to look and/or just order some more and let you know. Better than nothing and at least the price is right!

EDIT: Yes, I have them. They're pub. in 1981 (look like late 70's) and the story lines and pictures are... errrr... strange. Here's one I remember seeing on a shelf...

They are all sort of like this, though this might be the worst story of the bunch (you'll have to read to see if the people of Pebbleton, a town with no color, find the legendary "Colorland" I won't give away the ending...)

Does comics have to do with coins?

Nothing, except they are both collectables and that comic happens to tell you to clean your fathers coins! Don't think to do that if you like to keep your three square meals a day :)

    BTW

Check this out and read it. Post what you think.

Errrr... they are free comic books... put out by The Federal Reserve... about coins... so kids can learn about various coin related topics (click link).

EDIT: I realized the direct link I posted doesn't work, you have to go through the site.

Yor right. I was thinking of the PBS thread elsewhere. My appologies. To much multi-tasking
