I know this question has been asked in the past but not since the most recent batch of quarters have been released so pipe up and tell us your favorite Statehood quarter design and why.

I didn't really have a favorite until I spent so much time pouring over them recently. The one that really struck my fancy was the South Dakota design. I just like the wheat shafts that remind me of the early Lincoln cents and the Mount Rushmore in the center is striking and even the pheasant ( I assume its a pheasant) looks nice. Unless one of the newer designs is really something, I think I found my favorite. :high5:

I managed to get some from the cash drawer. I have Texas, Georgia, New Hampshire, New Jersey and North Dakota. Of those my favorite is ND, I like the buffalo

I like Nevada and California. I especially like the fact that both of those states avoided showing anything L.A. or Las Vegas related. By far the worst though, is New Hampshire. I like the state's motto, but hate the design because you can barely figure out what it is.

Right now my favorite is Connecticut but depending on how Hawaii looks in hand that may become my new favorite design (for state qrtrs)

I really like Utah. I also really like the Oregon design (my home state). I didn't like it at first when I saw the drawings in the newspaper (I felt that Oregon needed a covered wagon on its coin) but when I actually saw the coin in hand I really liked it.

New Hampshire is not half as bad as Alabama and Arkansos.

Some of these designs are just soooo bad. I like Kansas and I think I'm going to like Idaho.

Washington State for me. I am from Mich. I would rank that right up there with our economy. (It stinks)

Good Choice Meon, the next one I'd say is Texas.

You have a personal bias my friend. I'm orginally from Minnesota and I live in Illinois now but can't stand either design. If you look at the proof examples of these coins the South Dakota one really stands out. At least they had the good sense not to go with Wall Drug or the Mitchell Corn Palace designs. .

(Personal Bias) Maybe but that's still my choice and what you asked. Actually I submitted a design vastly different. Mine was sketch of a Native American camp scene with a traditional Peace Pipe below it... I'll see if I can find it on a disk around here.

That is a nice link. Unfortunately, my preferences don't go 45 deep. I like some of the features of some of the designs but other coins are tied for last. It would be hard to rate all 45.
