The Statehood Quarter series was inspired by the Canadian Provincial Quarter series, and here are my favorite designs from each one! I love this design, it's one of the best I've ever seen (the only flaw is the queen's head on the obverse) And the West Virginia coin is a beauty too! It also reminds me of the trip my dad and I took to see a Nascar race in bristol. We drove from Toronto, to Tennessee, and drove across the bridge. We built snowmen by the bridge, and it snowed at the Nascar race. It was great! Let me know what you think about the Ontario quarter, and what are your favorite quarters?
I didn't know Canada was doing the same thing as here in the USA with the quarters. Myself, not to interested in those quarters but have to collect them since those are the only quarters we are now making. Our state quarters have inspired a whold new gereration of coin collectors and at the same time irritated many of us older, like the old coins better collectors. I'm really worried that in the long run the overkill of varieties will do the same with coins as with stamps.
