Just thought i'd ask everyone what their favorite coin is. Mine is a 1907 $2.50 gold piece that grades at around MS-60. The reason its my favorite is because it is an heirloom passed on from my Great-Grandmother to my Mother to me. Its great to know what a coin's story is. It is the only coin in my collection that i would never sell because I intend to pass it on to my children.

I'll have to agree with Bruce on this one, all my coins are my favorites. But if you ask me to pick just one, I would have to say it's the one that I wear around my neck. My wife and I married in 2003 and for our 1 year anniversary she bought me a $5 gold and put it on a chain.

Any Buffalo Nickel. To me, no other coin quite captures "America" like this coin. It's a timeless piece of artwork.

Mine is my 1881-S Morgan Dollar. I know its a common coin but it was the first Morgan that I got and they are my favorite series. It is a raw coin but would grade about MS-64 and has some minor proof like features.

I have a big thing for Mercury dimes, BU of course. I can't seem to have enough of them.

My favorite coin, eventhough I don't own one "yet" is the Oregon Trail commemorative. I just love that coin but i rarely have the money available to purchase one when a decent deal is available.

An 1852 large cent with a hole drilled through the middle. Gift from my grandfather and it was what really got me started on coins.

Pretty fond of all of my coins, lol... but if I had to pick a favorite it would be my 2000 silver one pound proof from the UK. Love the Welsh dragon on the reverse.

standing liberty quarters, steel pennies, among some other things.

mostly because i was introduced to coins through my grandpa, who had a small collection.
the ones i mentioned were the ones that caught my attention, and that i liked the most :)
