What is it that makes you feel these numbers might be special? Nothing repeats, nothing follows and nothing is out of the ordinary. At least they are all Arabic.
The first and third one may get you a couple bucks on eBay. The 70 is a binary not a true binary but it is what some would consider a binary.
Sorry for poor picture quality. Bought this one 5 years ago for $190, thinking the radar serial would allow me to double my money in a flash....sigh...well, I've had this guy in my display case at 30 or so money shows and estate sales (my gf is a pro, and lets me set up a table at her sales). Sold it Friday for $400. Lesson learned! Radar Schmadar.
Oh my, a Fr.16c in VG8 Apparent with a plethora of derogatory adjectives selling for $400......this may be a world record price. Maybe @C G Memminger you're not giving the radar serial number enough credit.
point taken, Steve. but it took 5 years to get a fish on the line...I posted this radar note a couple months ago. on eBay for $24....crickets.... I also have 40 or so modern star notes I've captured in the wild---collecting dust in my display case. Any premium will buy the notes. Certain paper always move quickly (here in Austin, anyway). 1899 black eagles in low-mid grades. 1899 Chief Onepapa in any grade. 1923 porthole. CSA T-41 (ho'in note). any Republic of Texas note. any National Bank Notes from Texas banks. Hawaiian WW2 notes (not true for N. Africa notes). Trans-Mississippi CSA bonds signed by Texas Depositaries.
