Fake or Real?

    I got this today from my mother-in-law. Looks too good to be an authentic ancient coin but what say you? It is not magnetic. Thanks!

    Hope she didn't pay too much for it, that owl looks like its had a few rounds with Mike Tyson

    I doubt she bought it. Probably was given to her as some kind of promotion.

    Tommy's face looks almost as bad as the fake Athena's. I wish they would redesign the nickel ASAP.

    Definately a lot of amateurs out there. If you want to succeed as a forger, you have to be able to make it look 100 percent authentic. The AV Ahenobarbus aureus (NFA) was a perfect fake, it fooled me.
