I see no reason to think it is fake. But that's not my series.

Thanks Duke! I felt the luster and the detail on the coin was not very sharp for a silver coin. I am only a newbie so wanted someone to take a look at it and share their opinion.

I don't know why I find this funny in their description of the coin:
"WE DO NOT SELL OR SHIP TO CHINA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY! PEOPLE FROM CHINA LIVING IN USA ARE WELCOME ALWAYS!"

Like anyone assumed China meant all chinese people?

Very knowledgeable seller - have dealt with him many times. No doubt it is the real thing.

I don't know about the coin, but my ears pricked up when I saw that the seller was shipping it in a USPS medium priority mail box for $2.50. I know the cost of the medium box is $10.70 so, there's something wrong here.

When one thing is wrong, what else is ? I would not get involved in this myself for that reason.

Probably a typo and he meant $12.50

Maybe so, but then you get into him invoicing you for more money, mistake in the listing, etc. This is a pretty common coin, so I would move past it, rather than go through the hassle.
