I don't know anything about these coins but this one looks to be a poor counterfeit.

I think the seller made it clear its a 'coin/token'...it might be a token, fantasy, toy coin, etc...Hard to think someone expected to fool anyone with that.

I would have to say thats on them...he clearly states: 'Don't know a lot about this coin some kind of token.' Nowhere does he try to pass it off as the real deal...

If those people think they are getting the real deal...I have a hard time feeling sorry for them on this one...they are clearly bidding on something they know nothing about and not reading the text...:)

the real crime here is the shipping charge!!

The current high bidder and under-bidder are both avid collectors of contemporary counterfeits. Sometimes rather than assuming someone is getting fleeced; ask yourself what does this person know that I don't?

It is a useful tactic to use, finding out who is bidding on what is good tell to find out whether or not one should actively bid or pass. It makes locating and securing tough to find varieties when someone else has already done the dirty work. Here is a recent example from the bay.

Yeah, I want to know too. How do you know?

Checked c***0 bid history.....the bid history states that he's been all over the place in Coins and paper money to begin with.

8 bids so either someone knows something or just a lot of people that like tokens. It does not state a fake, counterfeit, just a coin/token. So maybe there are a lot of coin/token collectors out there. Kind of a high price if nothing really great. Now if this turns out to be solid Gold and we all missed out, well then.........

The wrong doing is on the part of the seller. Nowhere does HE clearly state it is NOT a coin, that it IS fake. He repeats it is a coin over and over and over all over the auction. This guy should be banned, or at least dragged out into a dark alley to be 'educated' lol
