OK.. So don't get crazy on me.. But I was thinking how easy it would be to make my own Fake.. Not for real.. Just a Fantasy Coin.. maybe Colored or Just wrong.. Like this.. http://www.cointalk.com/t85621/ Now Don't get nuts because when I say Not for Real I mean it.. I Was thinking of My Graphic program.. Computer Generated Coin.. So This was my first Try.. It is a 1999 ASE DD.. LOL... THERE IS NO SUCH COIN!!!! DON"T FREAK OUT.. I was just Playing around... I was wondering also because I have been working on getting better pictures of my toned coins.. And some coins I see I KNOW are "Enhanced" with Photoshop.. Or a Magic rainbow Camera Am I going to get hate mail just for messing with the Idea?Sorry.. Just Playing around! I think I may be going to Hell for the Smiling Morgan.. I am such a fool to post these.. But I am Playing with Photoshop today
LOL... Wow .. I was thinking I would get roasted for even messing with these... You can't trust your eyes.. Anyone can Fake anything... I like the SAE, I wish I found such a Item.. My eyes hurt .. Searching Cents all day...
I am sure it is.. I know its a sin.. I just was thinking about color at first.. then it got out of hand.. Its this dang Blue Nickel.. I still can't believe its real... All the color on the Morgan is Fake too..
Yeah, that nickel's got me thinkin' "blue light special". BTW, just watched your college boys pull one out against Bowling Green.....
Yea, I know some people who sell them as real "toned" coins on another site. You really have to keep your eyes out there and find out who is fake and who isn't. Sometimes it takes trial and error. I wish I could elaborate more on who it is, but I can't(right now).
So do you think this is AT and Passed PCGS for grade or Do you think the Doctor has toned it in the Slab.. I bet a True EVIL Coin Doctor out there has learned to do it...
No clue.. I use PhotoShop 7.0.. Its a bit older but then get all the "EyeCandy" Plug-ins and "Flaming Pear" Plug-ins.. Both great.. I think If you get it new it can be Pricey..
No, but I know these "people" take the coins out of the slab after they have been graded and fake tone them with chemicals and heat and such , then put them back in the holder and sell them from exuberant rates as "monster toned" coins. OOOOOOOHHHHHH, look at the pretty coin. It is all BS. :desk:
