    Hi Everyone,
I have an opportunity to buy this coin, I already know it is cleaned. However the given weight and diameter is 10.26 gm and 24.00 mm. On numista, it says it should be 13.09 g and 30 mm. Does that mean it is fake?
Would appreciate any advice. Many Thanks,
    Peter

Something looks very wrong. This is easily a 4-5 figure coin.

If you look under the number "6" of 1767, near the character "Tsna", it looks like there is a modern hallmark "1".

As Siberian Man will tell you, large gold coins in those days were not used for general circulation but were most likely used in the court parlours for gambling and cards. So there is a high possibility that a 10 rouble gold piece would have been touched by a very important historical figure of the time or even the Tsarina herself. Many Russian coins were either cleaned or worn in jewellery. Even the renowned Faberge used these coins to decorate his jewellery boxes etc.

As @gxseries pointed out these coins would sell for many thousands and even tens of thousands in higher grades. So ask yourself this question.....Why am I getting it a lot cheaper than the generally accepted market price??!! Also, ask the seller if he will let you have the coin authenticated. You will know immediately if it is a fake.

To me the reverse looks quite wrong including the Imperial double headed eagle.

Here’s one I bought about a year ago:

If you're getting the real deal for a great price, well done and enjoy the coin

Color, weight and diameter on OP's coin are all off.
    Doesn't that raise suspicion?
The details are not the same as the original coin above.

Probably a copy made for jewelry.
Is this a makers mark on the reverse?
