Just came across a FR02 1916-D in an ICG "slab" for a bit over $250. I know you're supposed to hold out for the best coin you can afford, but this looks like a steal. Any sight-unseen opinions?

I guess my big doubt is how reliable ICG would be for authenticating these.

ICG is supposed to be okay.

Guess somebody else thought it was okay, too; it's gone. :(

    The obverse.. I liked.

    The reverse, I did not.

One question, WHY IS EVERYONE TEMPTING ME WITH WINGED LIBERTY DIMES TODAY?!?!?!

Because me and MercCrazy have been whispering them in your ears while you slept. (continues to whisper in creepy tonality, "Winged liberty dimes, you'll buy winged liberty dimes.")

Actually, I just did it because I like making him correct "Merc" to "Winged Liberty". :)

Accurately graded, nice appearance for the grade and cheap. No surprise it disappeared quickly.
