Ive never seen anything like this. What is it? I tried to wipe it off...even ran my nail over it thinking maybe it was something stuck. You cant see it all with the naked eye. It is without question not just "glue" or something random. It has a clear shape. What could this be? Its not a mint issue that Ive ever seen. I need to find a way to get better pics of it. Looks like a flower or star???

Its so funny you say that. I didnt want to make a joke when posting but thats the first thing that hit my brain when I seen it. some Sci-Fi device. Its looks too "intentional". Its so tiny, it couldnt be like an accident. It appears to be connected smoothly or coming up out of the surface. Definately not adheared...Youd be able to see some evidence of that due to its microscopic size. I google searched and could not find anything even remotely close. It reflects super bright on the surface. I turned my scope light down to nothing and all you could see reflecting is the "points" almost like lights.

Are there any tools in die making that resemble this shape? What could have gotten stuck to the die like this....if thats even possible

If inhaled it hatches and burrows into your brain. Taking control of your body to do the bidding of the Hoard!

Could it be some sort of "gear" or cog? I can imagine any way it could have been attached though.

In photo 3, what is the drippy appearing stuff to the left? The drop seems to reflect similarly. Looks like a cent, a member sent me many years ago with epoxy material on it. Jim

    right?

I just saw the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers .... so with that I can confirm with a 100% correlation ... it looks like a Pod.

with some maybe lacquer spray over it.

Theres nothing on it at all that I can see, feel or tell. I took a Qtip to it and pressed relatively hard to see if it would come off or smash or disappear. Nothing. Still there just like it was.

Maybe some solder material that attached on when it was still hot. Someone was using a torch nearby.
