I got this rather large, 30mm radiate Volusian that was heavily chemically cleaned, stripping away the patina and leaving the surface rather rough and unattractive. I applied some Renaissance wax to try to even out the surfaces, but that didn't work very well. I then stripped off the Ren Wax with mineral spirits, and put it through the Jax Gauntlet, starting with Green, then Brown, then Brown/Black, and finally Black.l None of them did anything, except leave a surface of light green crystals. I threw some more Ren wax on it and now it looks worse than before. I guess some coins are just too far gone. RIP
