Extra Thick 1968 penny Not proof coin

    got a extra thick 1968D penny is it worth anything it's slightly thicker then a Canada penny

    It looks normal to me. You probably should not be returning coins to coinstar in general because they take a hefty fee. Instead see if a bank you have an account with has a coin counter. In general it should be charge free for customers.

    Good idea, but unfortunately many banks are eliminating their coin counting machines. Maintenance costs was too much and too many account holders using them equaled no fee charge hence no profit.
    My CapitalOne Bank had a machine and now they only give the customers coin wrappers.
