Extra finger on hand state quarter

    Does there appear to be an extra finger on Frederick

    Welcome to CT. There appears to be an extra finger but I'm unsure if it's a doubled die or one of the several other types of doubling.

    Why do people look for these things that need so much magnification? I'm sorry but I don't know... Die Deterioration maybe?

    I am waiting to have cataract surgery next month. Till then I need to check out any coins
    using a microscopic viewer plugged in to my laptop. Doing this causes some of those "wow
    what the heck is that moments ". Coins are beautiful
    pieces of art. You should see them close up like
    that. Rather addicting.....Martha Lynn
