    I have never heard of a 1976-D that was 40% silver. It looks like a 1976-D Type 2 Eisenhower dollar. It is composed of copper & nickel only. There is no silver in that coin.

    Exactly, it's a circulated clad business strike and does not contain silver. It's also a stock photo that is used in several other listings with different descriptions and pricing.
