Exergue???

    Only those that willingly want to make a educated guess on what Exergue mintmark this is, Please be my guest..?? I say it is SCONST using a Ref; RIC VII Arles 401 ??

    Your guess is better than mine since you have the coin in hand. I can see the "CONS" but the first letter I can't make out and I can see no last letter. But gosh, that is a fine example!!

    I strongly suspect that the OP coin has PCONST in exe. If it were SCONST then you should see the serif of the S before the C but instead you see a curved artefact which would indicate a P.

    Thank you, You are correct I believe as there are only these two exergue's starting with a P or an S... Both have a rating of R3 so I shall simply list both for information's sake..
