I went by the bank this morning to do the daily deposit and while I was at the counter I noticed some Ike's sitting in one of the teller's trays. I asked if I could take a look at them (around $15 worth sitting there) while they processed the deposit. Apparently a teenager brought them in about an hour ago and complained that coinstar wouldn't take them. I found both a 73p and 73d, and they were in good shape. I swapped her two paper dollars and I've had a grin on my face ever since. One coin away from filling my Ike book now...
Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's a 74p that I'm missing now. I'll have to check when i get home. I haven't looked in that book in a while, but I know I was missing both of the 73 coins. I was organizing things yesterday and started putting my Buffs in their book and didn't make it as far as I had planned, just went through all of the loose stuff.
Wow! Way Cool! I remember the 1973 I got at the bank about 6 months ago. It was an S coin on a Copper Nickel Planchet!
