Book value on these is surprisingly high. With 2 holes punched & a major edge ding, I suspect that this is a less desirable piece than most, but the minuscule mintage suggests they're a bit thin on the ground.

Appears to be the 8/7 variety.

What's it worth with this damage?

"What's it worth"? My completely non-sarcastic answer is, "Whatever someone will pay you for it."

As a casual holey collector, I do not like the double-holed pieces where the holes are on opposite sides of the coin (that's from old charm bracelets). The two holes in this one being side by side, above the major design element (the eagle), I do not find as objectionable.

Tough date? It might find a buyer. Who, where, and for how much is a complete unknown. Auction is the way to go for stuff like this, but it could fall completely flat, do well, or pleasantly astonish you by taking off. You never know.

It's such a narrow niche that it's hard to find a buyer for stuff like this. The buyers are probably out there, but whether or not they stumble across the coin at the right time is the big question.
