Hi everyone, well it looks like it is time form me to invest in some software to manage or inventory my coins, My insurance agent wants a list or he won't cover me past $350.00 and I think that is a tad low.

I saw a software package in Littletons catalog but like everything they sell, it seemed overpriced by at least 50%. I only collect US coins and the Littleton version sells for $65.00.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to another source or maybe the Littleton version is a good deal, please advise.

    Hello,

I simply value my coins, and other collectibles, and add them as a rider on to my homeowner's policy.

I use Coin Elite, a very good program and reasonable, especially if you don't get their coin values -- just enter your own values for the coins.

If You want simplicity, build an Excel spreadsheet, 1 sheet per type or denomination, and supply references to where your values came from ( ie bestcoin, Red Book, Grey Sheets, PCGS)

you can create an account at heritage, log all your coins, update easy, and it shows the numismedia whosale bid price with each coin...oh yeah and it is also free. Plus you can access it from any computer since it is actually on the heritage website

wouldnt you need pics of all these coins if your insuring them seperately to prove the worth?
