Evil Eye?

    I don't quite know what to think of this. The coin is a 1978 10 Pesos from Mexico. Is it possible that someone at the mint was messing around and created an eyeball for Miguel Hidalgo? Normal coin on the left, "Evil eye" on the right.

    I bet an ornery mint worker was smoked up and just happened to have a drill in his hand and added his own artistic work...

    Worn die and wear on left, earlier die state and less wear on right. Nothing out of the ordinary.

    Here is a photo of what looks to be a coin in a similar die state (judging from the eyebrows). It is from an auction site, so I can't do anything about the quality. I do not see anything that looks like the 3-D eyeball.
