I change my avatar every few days. I have hundreds of avatars.

 

No penny here! Just a fantasy piece I made up: A colored Cohen Mint 1 gram Rhodium round with "One Cent" on it. I like the eagle on such a small piece (smaller than a dime).

I am loving it. I forgot to metion my name is the Penny Man as my coworkers call me as so, because I tend to purchase at least $5-$10 in pennies (or one cent pieces rather) and go through them at work every day in between calls.

 

Mine is an old one, but like they say, an oldie is a goody.

My avatar represents the US Copper that I focus on, one's and two's.

 

Right now, it is a woodie and I picked this one only because it shows up better in the smaller size.

Personally, I don't care! However, the numismatically correct term is cent.

 

Try buying a book to hold your pennies? All books for U.S. Coins are Cents/half cents/Indian Cents. But Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Halves, Dollars are found with the denomination that is common.

LOL I go with one cent piece, otherwise known locally as penny for short.

 

I'm a fan of British pennies whether they be coins or tokens. My avatar is a cutout of one of the more elegant designs in the Conder token series-Cambridgeshire 9.

 

I just had to change to the 1973 Bunny Cent

 

Now that one is interesting what is the origin of that incluse mark

mine a penny. a real penny too not a cent. i chose it because it was the only image i had that was 100x100 lol
