This is a matchbox from the opening of a restaurant I helped build during the height of the pandemic. One night I obviously got bored and threw some coins in this matchbox with sulfur, wood, and cardboard. Put it on top of the hot water heater next to the exhaust vent. I am amazed, they haven't toned in the slightest. I really didn't know what would happen I thought the conditions would create the toning. I wanted something to remember the time the world stood still. It's a mishmash of pocket change from the day. We had to get this VW bus over the stem wall. One of the final touches for a Baja Cali scene. We ended up putting lights and a table in the back for parties that wanted to be alone.
