Just got this Belgian 1914 gold 20 franc though I didn't mean too. Looks to have a few edge
knocks but looks OK apart from that......any info appreciated....perhaps I'll pass it to someone
who does want to collect this type of coin.

I bid on a '67 canadian silver dollar, forgetting that I had an active bid on another one... and I won them both :(

Never bought one I didn't mean to, but I've bought some I wish I hadn't.

Over many years I have bought a few I have already owned but did not realize at the time.

Lol yeah, of course. I have bought duplicates many times, sometimes on purpose. I have bought lots at auctions by not paying attention. I have even bought on Ebay by either forgetting to cancel a snipe, (like yesterday), or clicking BIN accidentally.

Happens to all of us, but the good news is we get a coin, (or coins), for our mistakes!

Yea, I got something reasonable but not a coin I'm interested in and not that cheap either.
