Welcome to the Paper Money forum of CoinTalk!

There are many actually, you just have to sort through a lot of older threads and realize that there are not that many paper money collectors active on this forum. Most members are here to talk coins. When you want to show off notes, try scanning them rather than using a camera, and post them one by one, and without overlapping one note with another so we can see all of each note.

BTW, I have one of those very large 100 Pengo Hungarian notes in my collection too. I love that note!

Below are some of my older threads sharing European notes in my collection:

    Austria-Hungary, Hungarian & Hungarian Inflationary Paper Money: 1915 - 1989

    French échantillon notes

Italian Currency & AMC Issued in Italy

In the picture below you can see the first European plastic bills:
    P1080493.jpg
It was issued in Romania whit the occasions of the solar eclipse of 1999.
Has a value of 2000, was issued for one year and eventually withdrawn from circulation after a monetary reform.
    Has several interesting carecteristic as:
    - a transparent window
    - a pink semi-transparent window, which if superimposed to the sun from the opposite side makes that sun seen through this window to appear as made of two colors.

    Front:
Romanian coat of arms. A simplified solar system and depiction of the solar eclipse.
    Back:
Romanian flag within map outline of Romania. On the map, the area and the cities are marked, where the eclipse was the most visible.
This 2000 Lei bill is the first polymer-based note in Europe and in the northern hemisphere.
