    Hey everyone,

I just joined today. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on where to find Euro coins currently in circulation...I am looking to collect current 1 cent Euro coins from all of the different countries in the EU.

    Any thoughts?

Howdy kennedkd - Welcome to the Forum !!

Being in London you likely won't find many actually in circulation or from your pocket change. But there are many dealer's who sell them. If you can't find one locally there are quite a few with web sites. And if read back through the previous threads on the subject you'll find links to those web sites.

Good luck....the best place for a variety is in Germany because :

    1. It's next to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Italy
    2. Germans like to go on holiday to Spain, Portugal, Greece
    3. Downside-no finnish ones there (go to spain, portugal, greece for those !)

You can also have fun collecting all the german mintmarks

    Welcome !

Let me suggest a more interesting thing.

    Budget :

    - Low cost flight : let's say 30 euros
    - Metro (underground) ticket : 1 euro
    - Visit to Plaza Mayor flea market (plenty of coins) : free :)
    - 13 sets of coins for the different countries : 13 * ¿7,5? = 97,5 (maybe Slovenia will be a little more expensive).

You should take into account that there are many 2 euros conmemorative coins, that is a great collection, not to mention the expensive Monaco, San Marino and Vaticano
