Ok so some time ago I was looking through my spare change and i came across this pennie that witch on the back side it appeard to have a second striking of the lincolin memorial excpt that it is croked over the last one. The pennie is from 1971 andIcanot find anything similar to the pennie I have. it has been though Circulation and i know it lowers the value can anyone help me? I have had it looked at by some one before who told me that it is unusual for a 1971 pennie to have this error.
The coin could be a Doubled Die Obverse, have Machine Doubling or be Double Struck on the Reverse. We really need to see pictures of the coin to determine not only the type of error but also, how significant the error is and the grade of the coin to even come up with the possibility of it's value! title: "Estimate the cost of this coin I got" I just got it, this was a trick posting, your cost was ... (start the drum roll, pease) "One cent"!!!!! You got it from your change, therefore, one cent! Aha, gotcha! Also Frank
It could also be a worthless "squeeze job" with after-mint damage. Gotta have a picture to even make an educated guess.
response no that is not my intention. I will get the pic some time however i do not have a digital camera so dont hang me for being behind times Ill get a pic It'll just take a little bit.
