Picked these up from a local online estate auction. Listed as 4 U.S. quarters. I noticed the odd man out. That more than paid for everything A46E3B68-E289-4A92-A62B-0E7AEEA51271.jpeg 99109DF8-A314-46A6-9444-E47F29DA82C4.jpeg

Herman Herst, the famous philatelist and author, once wrote that to be a real philatelist, you need two working eyes and a working brain. The same is true of numismatics. Looks like you have all of the above. NICE!!!!!!

I saw the different eagle on the reverse first then saw the date. The type 1 1917 s was a nice bonus too

I might have noticed that 17-S before I noticed the denomination on the 75-S.

Rim a shame on that barber. The 61 not as common date either especially with civil war attrition

The barber is a shame. It was in much better condition than the pics I saw showed. I figure f12 on the 17s and g4 on the 61 and 75s 20 cent

Yeah I think you’re right. I’d say f-15 at least for the standing. Barber was vf 35 without the damage. And a date that’s a lot scarcer than the value shows. The 75-s 20c is a20c. But a 75-s. To me the 75p way underrated and the 76p damn rare nice. I hugely regret selling my 76 au58 cac when I needed money. I can’t find a suitable replacement
