This is a very broad question and I already know the answer, but here goes. Are errors more common in certain types of coins, or can errors occur in all types? I guess through the machining process it can happen to any coin. The real question is how common are error coins? If I had bags of coins would I have to look at every one with a loupe, or do certain date / types need more attention?
Chances are you would get faster and more accurate answers to questions about errors from the Error World group. It's a highly specialized field. They have a forum in the Coin Clubs section here at Coin Talk.
