I originally started looking for silver but found that error coins caught my interest more. I was told that the red book would be a great resource for me but I cannot grab it till next week. Are these errors on this coin or wear? AA055427-FD97-4B70-A643-93DD5A31448C.jpeg

The Red Book is a good source for historical information and technical data like composition, mintage, etc. but it is not the best source for information on errors. It's helpful to have a book like "Official Price Guide to Mint Errors" by Alan Herbert to identify specific types of errors. Knowing that an error coin is called a "Railroad Rim", a "brockage" or maybe a "tilted rim" can make your search for information a lot easier.

Awesome thank you. Do you have any opinion on the coin pictured or the cherry pickers guide?
