    Nope, just wear and oxidation. You can see some of the copper near the edge.

    Your Cent is Environmental Damage

    Copper Plated Cents are just that.. Plated

    Quarters, Dimes and Kennedy Halves have a Clad Layer with a Copper core.

    Plated and Clad coins are 2 different processes.
