I noticed the M is missing in DIME. Is it wear or an error?

The rim is intact so I'm at struck through grease /debris. It also appears as a very worn die.

Welcome to CT as you've been a member, but not posted before.
Your photo isn't clear or well lit, so it's hard to make a determination. It appears to be a grease filled M and part of the E with debris left over. Better photos, posted Full Image would help.

I appreciate your prompt response and I will make sure I post clearly illuminated pics from now on. I've been saving random coins now for about 12 years I figured it's hit or miss and hopefully I come by something important enough to leave my kids when I'm gone. However I had a friend of mine looking through them the other day and said I need to go get a couple of them looked at at a coin shop and I've always thought if I didn't know anything about coins and I take him somewhere to get looked at I can be played for a sucker because I know absolutely nothing about them. So I figured the best place to get honest opinions is online because of the anonymity and nobody's trying to get anything from me and vice versa so I'm going to post a few more images and see what happens thanks.
