    Well, crap. Thank you for helping me anyway. I was hoping I found something cool. Oh, well. Even if it’s not worth anything, it still tells a story. I think I’ll keep it.

    Someone put the edge of a grinder to it.. There are a lot of bored people who like to damage coins in this manner.

    Can you show the edge. It might be silver.
