Ok so I found this coin at work while feeding the auromated checkout machine. At first I thought it was a Canadian as it was too shiny to be silver. Then I thought no it must be plated. I had found a few gold plated quarters before so ,I took a safety pin to see if I could remove the plating from in between one of the reeds. Well just what I expected ,copper underneath. I figured the same to be true of this quarter but no.... Is this actually an error?
