    Hi all,

    I need to know the name of this error and does it affect the value of the coin or not?

    I have placed three arrows where I think this might be an error;

    The 1st to the right where the number 7 in the Hijri Date 1357 is not struck properly.
    The 2nd "Middle" where part of the lettering seems not prominent
    The 3rd to the left where I think there is a small die crack.

    I would appreciate any comments.

    I will post pics for both obverse and reverse just to help evaluate the coin condition "may be this helps"

    Thanks

    This is the only coin I have, so I will borrow this pic from world coin catalog for comparison.

    Die chips I believe. Not sure if they add a premium or not as I am not familiar with these coins.

    Can't tell if the die crack is a crack or a lamination. At the bottom it may be a slight grease fill, The date is just damaged, something has hit the 7 and mashed it.

    I thought of that, is it possible that something came inbetween the die and the coin during strucking e.g. a piece of metal

    After looking again, I think condor is right.
