Error or damage?

    Looks like Damage from the photo's provided . Possibly used as a slotted screwdriver ???

    Can you take pics with Cell phone ? Try this trick >>>Set your phone on Can or flat jar with camera lens hanging over edge. Then place coin below and adjust and WAIT for the camera to focus and take Pic, then use camera's function to crop each photo's taken and share to your email then from there DL to your file or desktop .

    That's a dent on the Cent. Post Mint Damage.

    The issue on the Mint Mark is a plating bubble.
    It's a common issue that occurs on copper plated zinc cents. We have seen other examples here on CoinTalk. New collectors always think it's another letter.
    Known as Zinc Rot.

    All can be said in the date. Zincoln coin with plating issues and just PMD for the cut IMO. I can't tell from either of your photos, but suspect you can see some zinc showing through on the cut. Check it out.
