Just damage.. Both First Cent was snipped with a sharp object. Second Cent was smooshed somehow. Both PMD - Post Mint Damage
Welcome to CT Don. These are good examples of badly mistreated coins. Someone tried to cut the first one in half, but failed. The second one is more likely a parking lot penny. Read up on how coins are minted and you'll quickly see it would be pretty much impossible for the damage to happen at the mint, so it is PMD as Paddyman indicated.
