Error or damage?

My great uncle gave me this coin a while ago, and I never thought that this could be a possible error. Is this just corrosive damage? The coin looks to be around an AU53 or AU55. Also, if you look under the beak, you will see two thin lines making an angle from the neck. Is this all just wear and tear?

    Sorry, here's the obverse. It's a 1922.

Hard to say from your images , could be lamination , strike through , or damaged platchet .
In hand out of the 2x2 would be the best to determine the cause.
My guess would be strike through wire or some other foreign object.

What Paddy54 said. At first glance, it looks like one of those errors and not PMD
