error on reverse of penny?

    found this in the register at work. brought it home originally to throw in my 95% copper bin and saw the few marks on the back that made me hesitate.

    I do not think these are errors, however, the indentations near the top of the memorial may be evidence of a die crack/break.

    Tough to tell from your photos, but it looks like environmental damage.

    ... And even if it were some sort of minor mint error (die chip, lamination, etc.), due to the condition of the coin, it wouldn't carry any significant premium.
