error nickle??

    I found a nickle that is Very thin (thinner than a dime) and is also smaller in diameter than it should be. The features are either pretty worn or maybe just not stamped right because of the thickness. Has anyone ever seen this before? :confused:

    Hello, welcome to the forum Dal! ok 1st this topic will be move by a mod to the "Error Coins" forum...hehe ;) and 2nd, could you post some pics? The error experts around could give you a better help with a pic. ;)

    It sounds like your coin may have been acid treated.
