I have a 2000 p nickel that is very blurry on the entire front. The back looks normal. It looks likes there may have been some liquid on the face when it was stamped. I have not able to find out anything about it and was curious to find out. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to CT. First thing you will hear unendingly here is that we need pics to tell. The pics should be close-up and clear. (Cameras with a macro setting do well) Both obverse and reverse of the coin. The pics may need to be cropped to fit the size requirements. Sounds like it could be struck through a capped die, but again, pics are necessary. Good luck!
Nice. If you have a redbook it gives a rough estimate of errors and the values thereof in the back. check out this link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...cat=11116&_odkw=&_osacat=119027&LH_Complete=1
