Error Merc or Just Damaged?

From a roll of Mercs I got recently, I got this piece that had a couple things off about it.
    1) Upper left rim has a double/jutting rim, and what seems like a top of another "I" (Obverse)
    2) A very clean chunk is taken from the bust (Obverse)
The reason why I'm curious if this is in fact an error piece, is because the doubling/jutting rim occurred on my 1941/42 as well.
    Looking for thoughts. Thanks.

Reverse seems to be harshly cleaned..........Not a clue as to what is going on with the bust, but folks Older, wiser, and more experienced will chime in soon..........

This is the first Misaligned Die Strike Mercury Dime I have ever seen.
That's all I can tell you because that's all it is.. nothing else.

It looks like a misaligned die and a strike through at the base of the neck.
