"ERROR" Is this a deep cameo or stamped on the wrong coin??

    1964 D Washington quarter has a very deep recessed cameo on both sides. I am just curious if anyone knows what the correct term for this error is and what it may be worth.

    Its pmd, so only worth melt. Looks like someone started to make a coin ring out of it and stopped. Rolling the edges like that is the first step in making a coin ring ma'am.

    If you search Youtube there are videos on how to make coin rings, and you will see exactly what I am saying.

    Looks like someone try to spoon it or make into a ring.
    Maybe it was damaged in a washer or dryer?
