Can someone help me with this error. Whats it called and whats it worth to sell it? Thanks for any help I get.
That's a beautiful fold error, often called a "butterfly fold" because if you unfold it, it looks a bit like a butterfly. I have no idea on price range, but in the $hundreds. It looks to be in Unc condition, which helps immensely. Where did you get it?
It originally came from a bank teller. I looked on heritage. I did see one on a $20 with a bigger fold than mine that sold for $4300 in January at the Florida show in Orlando.
Now that's a butterfly fold. Now turn the bill over and take another picture. Looks great. I had one or two but nothing like that.
It is in a mylar holder. I do collect large size and national currency so I have some. I want to sell it so I can buy a note for my collection but I dont know how much its worth. I am researching though. Seems pretty scarce. Edit - Forum Rules
